Abstract:
Afterwards some previous critical remarks on nationalism as a political ideology, an approach is taken to Peripherical nationalisms historical origins in Spain, their further evolution in the context of the repeatedly disappointed "bourgeois national revolution", and their subsequent excessive political prominence, as minorities, growing during and after transition to democracy. This paper ends to some reform proposals for the Autonomic State model in force and some theoretical and political sceptical concluding remarks on the unsolved problem of Spain Political Unity.
