Abstract: El sistema monetario internacional nace con la finalidad de regular las economías a nivel internacional pues pretende establecer las paridades de las monedas de cada país de conformidad a la riqueza acumulada o generada, por cada nación así como al potencial de recursos con que cuenta, en el sistema financiero internacional se establece un valor a la moneda de cada país y es así como podrá determinar las acciones tendientes a comercializar e intercambiar a través de la moneda. Cada país es independiente en su forma de establecer la paridad monetaria que más le convenga para llevar a cabo las transacciones comerciales, así por ejemplo si algún empresario o comerciante requiere de divisas de otra nación, para comprar maquinaria o insumos materia prima que requiera para producir los bienes finales o bien comprar bienes de consumo para distribuir ante la sociedad, Se deberá someter a la política fiscal y monetaria que ha determinado su gobierno.
