Ciclo de vida y localización espacial de las firmas en Colombia: algunos elementos para la conceptualización

Abstract: Change and growth are development’s expression in industry, the emergence and the disappearance are reflected in firms´ dynamics. This article refers to the study of the industrial dynamics starting at the conjunction of three analysis bases: the industrial organization that gives information about market’s structure, the combination of productive factors and the firm’s behavior; the economic geography, as a recognition of time and space importance in economics and social processes; and, as integrating element, the territorial politics materializes into possibilities for regional development and, inside it, firms´ development.
