Gestão da Política Fiscal e Monetária no Brasil: Inconsistências e Equívocos

Abstract: In this article we have as objective to evaluate - from the analysis of the recent pointers of the Brazilian economy - the level of consistency of the politics monetary and fiscal executed by the economic authorities in 2003/2004. We use in this analysis the data of the performance of the Brazilian economy in the last years, divulged for Central banking and IBGE. We conclude that in real Brazil, the retaken one of the supported economic growth is still not configured. So that this occurs is necessary the implementation of changes in the current economic model, especially in the conduction of the tax policies and monetary.
