Abstract: The waste originated in the sugar and derived industry can become by-products, with certain economic value and at the same time, to avoid the impact to the environment that would cause their incorrect disposition. The impact is presented that causes in the environment the still vinaza. Presently work is approached the study of environmental impact as an element of special importance in the environmental administration to analyze the use of a by-product of the process of the sugar industry with new cane varieties, the call energy cane. For what becomes necessary to deepen in the study of their environmental impact. The information surrendered by the study takes to conclusions on the impacts that it can take place on its environment the installation and development of an action. The main indicators of environmental impact kept in mind in the development of this work are the technological and half environmental. The environmental impacts that the sugar industry causes a direct incidence in the population, either for the emission of particles, gases polluting and residual solids or emitted liquids that they hinder the environmental reparation of the establishments, provoked fundamentally for the technological backwardness of the industry and the scarce environmental education of the labor communities and population in general. For what becomes unavoidable to lend a great interest to the environmental impact that these they cause from the agricultural phase until the industrial phase of the process.
