Abstract: Recycling of plastic waste represents an important alternative to develop by the Cuban Government; environmental sanitation; the development of an industry capable of exporting products and replacing exports with significant acquisition and foreign exchange savings is an important goal for the Cuban economy. On the other hand, is right now a source of employment for our society. The policy these days implements the Cuban government is giving opportunities to other productive ways to participate in the development of the recycling activity. These new forms of management are demonstrating their ability to increase the efficiency of this task. The potential of plastic waste in the country is considerable, but it is necessary to post it and have them all properly located to develop measures that contribute to their proper exploitation.
