Abstract: El turismo puede contribuir notablemente al desarrollo económico, social y ecológico del lugar de destino. Sin embargo, un desarrollo turístico mal planificado puede generar acusados y negativos efectos sobre el medio, natural o social. Es por tanto ineludible la planificación del desarrollo turístico, teniendo como eje central la sostenibilidad, es decir buscando siempre el desarrollo turístico sostenible.
