Abstract:
This paper presents a LAN-based real-time monitoring tool designed to enhance system performance tracking and ensure USB device security in local area networks. It provides a centralized graphical interface for network administrators to monitor device metrics such as CPU usage, memory, disk activity, and network traffic. Additionally, it offers USB device management capabilities with block/unblock functionalities to restrict unauthorized access. The system architecture integrates monitoring agents, a central server, and a secure database, developed using Python (Flask), HTML, and MySQL/SQLite. The solution enhances network efficiency, streamlines administrative oversight, and reduces potential security breaches.
