Abstract: Introduction: Childhood is a magical time, where innocence dances hand in hand with curiosity. Habits formed during childhood often lay the groundwork for adult behaviour. Habit disorder can be defined as repetitive behaviour that does not serve any purpose, but may negatively affect the individual. This pre-experimental study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a nurse-led intervention program (informational booklet) on knowledge and attitude regarding habit disorders of children among mothers in selected community areas of Distt. Mandi (H.P.) 2024-2025 Methodology: This pre- experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of a nurse-led intervention program (informational booklet) on knowledge and attitude regarding habit disorders of children among mothers in selected community areas of Distt. Mandi (H.P.) by using total enumeration sampling technique. Data was collected using sociodemographic variables, attitude scale and by self-structured questionnaire for knowledge assessment. Validity was ensured by expert opinions and reliability was tested using Karl Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Ethical approval was obtained from ethical committee of GNC, SLBSGMCH Mandi (HP) and village Pradhan of rural areas. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. Results: Pre-test mean score for knowledge was 9.26, which increased to 21.28 in the post-test. For attitude, the pre-test mean score was 34.24, which increased to 40.13 in the post-test. Association was found with education status and those who had habit disorders in their childhood in the pre-test, and the number of children was found to be significant in the post-test. The result of the study showed that there was a significant improvement in the knowledge and attitude of mothers after the intervention. Conclusion: The study concluded that the Nurse-Led Intervention Program enhanced the knowledge and attitude, underscoring the importance of the Nurse-Led Intervention regarding the habit disorders.
