Synthesis and Characterization of Urea-Formaldehyde Microcapsules Containing Castor Oil

Sandip S. Nandre

International Journal of Scientific Research in Science and Technology, 2025, vol. 12, issue 4, 978-981

Abstract: Micro capsulation is new type of polymeric coatings and attracted great attention from few years. Because of ability to increase the material lifetime, cost effective and long time to use. In the present investigation the synthesis and characterization of the microencapsulated Castor oil in Urea –Formaldehyde shell material coating have been studied. The synthesized microcapsules were characterized by optical microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy.
