Abstract:
This study is aims to synthesis, characterization, and resolution of enantiomeric tris (Ethylenediamine) Cobalt (III) Chloride by precipitation method. The obtained product is an optically active, water-soluble, yellow-orange, or dark-red to brown crystalline solid. It features a stable octahedral cation with specific optical rotation +90o and is commonly used in studies of chiral coordination chemistry.
