I prezzi di accesso alle reti dei servizi di pubblica utilit?: una sintesi teorica
Marco Ziliotti
ECONOMIA E POLITICA INDUSTRIALE, 2007, vol. 2007/3, issue 3, 147-172
Abstract:
Access prices to public utility services networks: a theoretical synthesis - The aim of the paper is to provide a compact, but as much as possible exhaustive, treatment of the theoretical matters arising when a dominant firm, vertically integrated, controls the supply of a key input ("essential facility") for the competitors ("network"). The consequent regulatory problem of access pricing, once exposed the Ramsey-Boiteaux basic model, is faced illustrating the most important extentions and deepenings both in unilateral and reciprocal access cases. Some conclusions are at last proposed about the trade-off emerging among different objectives of the regulatory policies. Jel classification: L50; L90; H40
