Abstract:
Human migration problems in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are considered. Based on statistical analysis of migration processes the peculiarities of their transformation are revealed. These first of all include considerable decrease in the scope of migration, change of migration turnover and directional flows of population. The role of migration in the formation of population in the region is shown. Characteristics of population flows, migratory attitudes and causes of human migration are examined
