Abstract:
Regional aspects of enhancing energy efficiency in Russia are studied. Characteristic is given of the energy intensity in the Khabarovsk Territory. Attention is paid to the use of three approaches to assessing the effectiveness of energy efficiency projects in the regional economy based on private efficiency, total efficiency, public efficiency. Analysis is made of the Khabarovsk Territory’s experience in application of a special mechanism to promote energy efficiency investments in industry and transport. The efficiency of investments in energy conservation projects in the Territory under the three suggested approaches is shown
