Development projects of the Russian Far East in terms of cooperation between Russia and Japan in the economic and trade spheres are considered. Prospects for the fulfilment of Japan-Russia agreements on economic cooperation and their impact on the prospects of economic growth and structural upgrading of the Russian Far East economy have been evaluated
