Abstract: Persistent trends in the dynamics of basic social indicators in Russia’s constituent territories are analyzed. Calculations are made and quantitative estimates are obtained of interregional differentiation of the social indicators by federal districts and the country as a whole. The presented analysis shows that despite the reduction of interregional disparities in the indicators of income level of the population, differentiation by the level of consumption of basic foodstuffs, housing conditions and availability of expensive durable goods is being enhanced. At the same time, the level of interregional differences in social services (health care) remains unchanged
