Abstract: Attempt of the analysis of a creative heritage of «well forgotten» Russian economist N. P. Oganovsky is undertaken. In N. P. Oganovsky’s research three basic directions are allocated: first, influence of political factors on agriculture; secondly, agrarian evolution and, thirdly, influence of spatially changeable factors on agriculture that it is possible to name as agriculture geography
