Abstract:
Export potential of Russian grain is studied. As emerging markets the Asia-Pacific market is considered. It is shown that in Siberia conditions are available for the growth of grain production to meet the needs of the population in Siberia and the Far East and to increase the amount of exports in the next ten years up to 5 million tons per year. The factors are described that limit the realization of the export potential of Russian grain to Asia-Pacific countries — those connected with economic conditions, production, infrastructure, and institutional ones
