Abstract:
The author considers controversial issues associated with the criticism of the methodological aspects the modern economic theory mainstream. The study addresses methodological pluralism as one of the possible future directions of economic methodology development. The author demonstrates the complex character of the spatial economics issues, which creates the potential for the ideas of methodological pluralism. By differences in methodological approaches Ukrainsky V.N. singles out two directions of modern spatial economics - Anglo-Saxon and «continental European»
