Abstract: The focus of this research was to study the personality fit between mentor protege dyads and the impact of mentees personality on the effectiveness of mentoring in an information technology company with PCMM 4/5 level Certification in Chennai. This study was conducted to explore the need to match the mentor and protégé personality to make the mentoring process effective.
