Review of Environment, Energy and Economics - Re3, 2012
Abstract:
Vulnerability to climate change is an increasingly relevant issue for urban policy makers. Recent efforts of urban management have looked beyond mitigation to focus on adaption measures to protect cities from increasing sea levels, temperatures and extreme events. Defining factors in urban climate change adaptation efforts include the level of administrative adaptation planning, the tools and information used in making policy choices, adaptation measures, and the roles of governance and finance.
