Marcus Alban Suarez
RAE - Revista de Administração de Empresas, 1989, vol. 29, issue 3
Abstract:
The brazilian petrochemical industry is beginning a new growth cycle with investments of about four billions dollars, to be applied on the duplicationof the present capacity of Bahia Petrochemical Complex, and on a new complex in Rio de Janeiro. This process cannot be considered to be just an adjustment between supply and demando On the contrary, it reflects a deep process of entrepreneurial reestructuring, which may have a high cost for the country's economy.
