Abstract:
The introduction of new technologies have noticeable impacts on most segments of business and society. This survey focuses on the impacts of such technologies on the human work. Several common points and the most frequent apprehension have been identified, specially those related with employment, professional deskilling and new management patterns needed to cope with the renewed forms of doing the jobs. The items that discuss measures to soften the negative impacts and to enhance the positive ones are also presented.
