José Carlos Garcia Durand
RAE - Revista de Administração de Empresas, 1996, vol. 36, issue 2
Abstract:
Four principIes seem to sum up what one might expect of an efflcient and democratic cultural policy: quality, diversity, preservation of identities and dissemination of values. To achieve these objectives, a minimum of political and administrative continuity is necessary; a minimum of professionalization should be offered for the technical and concerned directing personnel. Thearticle examines main challenges to the modernization cultural policy, in Brazil, since the end of military regime (7986) until nowadays.
