Abstract:
The significant changes in terms of productive process logic, the new tecnologies and the changes in competitive conditions have opened space 50 that activity sharing would be considered a solution for almost ali the strategic matters of enterprises. Activity sharing presents itself as the most adequa te possibility for a series of situations faced by enterprises, but it can not be treated as a new dogma, beca use dogmas, both the old and the new ones, are not able to answer satisfactorily the modem and effective practice of companies. The article intends to provide a conceptual analysis of the main factors linked to integration and activity sharing - the stimulating factors, the restrictive ones, and the encouraging conditions - and, also, provide a survey of those enterprises settled in Brazil which, lately, have been using those strategies.
