Abstract:
The under-graduate level teaching of Business Management is, in Brazil, a fairly recent event. Given the importance of this field of knowledge as a strategic tool for the development of the nation and its organizations, an investigation into the public policies regarding the teaching of Business Management becomes highly necessary. This paper seeks to analyze the policies which have already been implemented and those that are now being proposed by the Comissão de Especialistas de Ensino de Administração (Commission of Specialists of Business Management Study), as seen through the eyes of highly acknowledged educators who are deeply committed to the development of the nation.
