Abstract:
This paper analyzes increasing organizational complexity derived from the adoption of new technologies, discussing the implications for both, the organization and its members. Two case studies are presented dealing with implementation of new technologies in wards of radiotherapy and radiology of a private non proprietary hospital. This research offers a new perspective on the adverse effects that emerge from the implementation of new technologies and the process used by organizations to adapt to them.
