Abstract:
Organizational research developed in more advanced economies and democratic societies is increasingly concerned with identity issues and their relationship with the organizational world; its aim is to include and eliminate inequalities in the organizational environment applied to historically devalued identities. Such concern has forged the term "big 6" among Anglo-Saxon organizational researchers, a reference to the six most relevant identities in diversity studies for organizations in this context: age, disability, race/ethnicity, gender, religion, and sexuality. Thus, to contribute to the debate on diversity, identity, inclusion, and the production of inequalities in organizations, five contemporary books on the subject are presented below. The contents of these books are divided into two main themes: methodologies and theoretical-conceptual aspects.
