Reviving Main Street: two New England case studies

Abstract: For 25 years, the Main Street program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation has been revitalizing town centers and rejuvenating downtown commercial districts. This article takes a look at the Main Street strategy and examines its success in Boston, Massachusetts, and Littleton, New Hampshire.
