Abstract:
Through community development corporations, banks may make equity and debt investments designed primarily to promote community welfare. Such efforts facilitate the economic rehabilitation and development of low-income areas primarily through investments in affordable housing and small businesses. The William Mann, Jr. Community Development Corp. is a Fort Wort h - b a s e d multibank CDC chartered in May 1994.
