Abstract: Paula Gold-Williams is president and CEO of CPS Energy, San Antonio’s municipal utility, with more than 1 million electricity and natural gas customers. She serves on numerous boards, including those of the Texas Public Power Association, the Electric Power Research Institute and the San Antonio Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She offers her perspective on the electricity market in Texas.
