Abstract: It has been a privilege, an honor, and an education to serve as a member of the Federal Reserve Board since August, 1994. I have found it enormously rewarding to help craft a monetary policy oriented toward job creation and price stability, new supervisory and regulatory approaches to insure the safe and sound operation of our financial system, and programs in the areas of community and economic development. ..
