Abstract: The article author dwells on the problem of Russian capital flight that hampers the country’s economic development. Various ways to illegally transfer the capital to a different state are examined. The author examines what role the offshore companies play in the illegal money laundering. The author stresses that the appropriate laws should be in place to fight the capital flight.
