Abstract:
Russia’s foreign trade key indicators plummeted in November 2014. The introduction of a “fiscal maneuver” in the oil and gas industry amid falling crude oil prices gave rise to substantial reduction in the crude oil export duty early in 2015. In an eff ort to set back such a price hike in the domestic grain market, the Russian Government took measures introducing export customs duties with a view to limiting Russia’s wheat exports.
