Abstract: In mid-April 2015, the Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) released its annual World Trade Report 2014, which reviews the international trade over the past year and its development prospects for the current year. The document off ers preliminary statistics on global trade in merchandise and services, and also an analysis of the main trends in its development depending on specifi c countries and regions1.
