Abstract: In 2020, the net migration of the population of Russia has sharply decreased, amounting to 81.7 thousand people in January-September. By early winter, the number of labor migrants in Russia decreased by 25%, while the share of those legalized in the labor market has not changed. As the epidemiological situation normalizes, the scale and vector of migration should return to their previous values.
