Abstract: In the context of the pandemic, the educational process was periodically carried out remotely, including additional education for children. Based on the analysis of official statistics and empirical data obtained in the course of a sociological survey, the factors influencing the effectiveness of the organization of the educational process in remote mode were identified, the issues of using digital content in the organization of additional education for children were studied, the request of school teachers, who for the most part conduct additional classes to expand the types of digital educational content used. The article was written on the basis of the RANEPA state assignment research programme.
