Mechanisms of Federal Financing of Science in Russia

Abstract:
The book is devoted to analysis and systematization of major instruments and priorities of financing research and development from the federal budget in Russia, in comparative context with foreign experience. Such mechanisms are analyzed as block financing, program financing, and support through the system of federal science foundations. In conclusion recommendations are given for optimization of the federal system of financing science.
