Legal regulation of international intellectual property transactions

Anna Zolotareva, Anastasia Kireeva and Stanislav Shatalov

Research Paper Series, 2010, issue 131P

Abstract: The study analyzes the main issues of legal regulation of international intellectual property transactions. The authors review existing civil and customs legislation regulating import, export and use of licensed products on Russia’s territory, the law application practices concerning disputable issues, as well as foreign experience in that field. Some possible solutions to the problems arising in connection with legal regulation of international intellectual property transactions are suggested.
