Land market in Russian agriculture: institutes’ transformation and practice

Abstract:
TIn this publication the author analyzes land turnover through institutes’ transformation and their impact on transaction costs. The paper provides analysis of farm lands classification and gives reasons in favor of transition from category of land to a plot of land, taking into consideration suitability of each of them for one or another purpose. The author addresses the issue of setting aside plots of farm lands depending on the types of authorized use and inter-settlement zoning.
