Financial aspects of currency integration in CIS

Abstract: In this work authors analyze separate issues of CIS currency integration. They analyze the role of fiscal policy on the territory of the currency union from the point of view of economic development stabilization. The work includes empirical analysis of stablization characteristics of CIS fiscal systems. Issues connected with potential role of foreign trade sector in the process of currency integration were examined from the point of view of possible gains and losses. Assumptions were given regarding the transaction costs structure and their estimate was provided.
