Abstract:
In this note, we will focus on the relationships between the growth rates of several functions that describe the topological shape at infinity of discrete groups. In particular, we will consider, in detail, the notion of the rate of vanishing of the simple connectivity at infinity for some geometric classes of finitely presented groups.
