Abstract: This paper addresses the comparison problem for the spherical Radon transform, which was posed by Koldobsky, Roysdon, and Zvavitch. By applying Fourier analytic techniques, we derive linear stability results for both the affirmative and negative solutions to this problem. Furthermore, we investigate the linear separation in this framework.
