Abstract: This study proposes a conceptual framework for applying artificial intelligence (AI) to sustainable development projects, emphasizing its role in mitigating risks, enhancing flexibility, and fostering resilience. A case study analysis demonstrates the practical application of AI tools in optimizing project outcomes while aligning with global sustainability goals. The findings underscore the transformative potential of AI in enabling sustainable practices and achieving long-term success in the BANI (brittle, anxious, nonlinear, incomprehensible) environment. This research contributes to the growing discourse on digital transformation and sustainability by presenting actionable strategies for project managers and stakeholders. To highlight this study’s quantitative findings, key numerical estimates derived from the case study and model validation have been incorporated into the abstract, showcasing AI’s measurable impact on project resilience, efficiency, and stakeholder confidence.
