Abstract: The cost is definitely the most important factor in decision making process for businesses However, consumers' environmental sensitivities have been increasing in recent years, so that including non-cost factors in decision processes has been a necessity. Businesses should develop some strategies to minimize the damage to the environment and carry out their activities in line with these strategies. The aim of this study is to develop a integer programming model that optimizes the environmental and economic objectives of the distribution center assignment problem. This model, which minimizes total cost and carbon emissions and meets legal requirements and capacity constraints, has been tested with data from a company.
