Abstract:
Since Ravenstein, the economy has been recognized as one of the determinants of internal migration outputs. Also in the economy, the effect of non-agricultural production volume is emphasized. The aim of this study is to test the effect of the sectors, the sector as a whole and the GDP on today’s internal migration outputs. In general, the production volume in the input region or the difference between the input and output regions are used as the methods. The application is based on the economic volumes in the provinces that are entered. Firstly, Pearson correlation is used for statistical analysis. Single linear regression analysis is used for the components of GDP, which had a significant relation in Pearson correlation. The application area is Bilecik for the years between 2008 and 2018. Data is compiled from TSI. According to the findings, internal migration outputs from Bilecik are relevant with production except agriculture sector. Significant impact of non-agricultural sectors and GDP on internal migration outputs of Bilecik, is determined. The most influential sector is industry.
