Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the moderator role of the climate of forgiveness in the effect of organizational dissent on lose of face. The sample of the study consists of academic staff of two state universities in the Central Anatolia Region. The results of this cross-sectional study show that organizational dissent has a positive effect on lose of face; Contrary to the assumptions, it has been shown that the effect of the forgiveness climate on lose of face is positive. In addition, it has been determined that the forgiveness climate does not have a moderating role in the relationship between organizational dissent and loss of face. The findings of this study not only enhance the body of knowledge in the literature, but also help strengthen the understanding of academics and administrators regarding the consequences of organizational dissent.
