Staging the self-other dichotomy: Gaze beyond human template

International Journal of Development and Conflict, 2015, vol. 5, issue 2, 127-137
Abstract:
A panorama of the present-day discourse on Israel-Palestine is herein expounded by using the tenets of cross-cultural theories. Through a dissection of the 'we-they' cleavages in the 'selfother' dichotomy that builds this conflict, I refuse to fight truth-claims within a linear spectrum of contenders. Instead I model with a big brush—a humanist understanding of social discord in the context of Gaza.
