Abstract:
Which factors determine if and by how much the productivity of a firm will increase when investing in IT? How can we measure the theoretical mechanisms for spillovers of innovations across firms? These are two issues on my current research agenda. More satisfactory answers than previously given are obtained by applying microeconometric methods in measuring economic effects and by combining data on firms and their employees.
