Samuelson and switching of techniques
Giuseppe Bertola
History of Economic Ideas, 2010, vol. 18, issue 3, 187-196
Abstract:
This paper reflects briefly on the importance (or not) of a certain theoretical issue and of Paul Samuelson’s contribution to economic analysis. In doing so it recalls personal experiences, aiming to illustrate what that great economist and a grand Economics debate looked like to somebody who was Italian, young, and at mit in the mid-1980s.
